You have to put one of the same size, to not have that problem. As you changed them, do what Linogonzalez tells you.

The real problem you have is that both spirals are defeated. The solution that gives you linogonzales has been applied in many vehicles, but you run the risk that in a ditch or on a donkey's back, the turns will touch each other if both spirals are very expired. I particularly recommend replacing both spirals and that you place the two new shock absorbers corresponding to that vehicle.
