Good afternoon. I have an AX100 which had an ignition problem about a year ago. (The motorcycle had no spark) I took it with a mechanic who told me he changed the Ignition Table. Within months he had the same problem. I took out the ignition table to check it (I'm an electronics technician, not a mechanic !!) The black coil measures 150 ohm. The largest coil measures 0 ohm. They are fine??? And my other question is that the function of the small piece on the side that carries the blue cable and has a relay type contact inside. Thanks in advance. regards

The ignition coil is the one that brings the red black cable as positive and a green one as mass, between the red black cable and ground against the chassis you must have at least 180 ohms or a little more if it is not well, but try the Green wire resistance should also give 170 to 190 ohms, the other is the light coil, the part you ask is a half-deep rectifier diode so that it continues.

https://ieonline.microsoft.com/#ieslice Watch this video here the cables are of different color and it tells you how to test the power generation for the ignition.

Thanks for answering. I was testing and generates alternate. But when connected it does not spark at the spark plug.
I measured again and between the ignition wire (Red and Black) and ground now measures 10K ohm.

The strangest thing is that I just measured it again and it gave 180 ohm
?????? Any ideas?

Check the high coil and the wire to the spark plug or the spark plug may be short?

Yes, I tried another spark plug and another high coil. Sometimes it gives a spark, but if I turn off the motorcycle and try to start it again, it doesn't work anymore. The starter coil value changes all the time. But I noticed that it changes when I measure it for several seconds or every time I connect it

Take out the platelet and clean it well that the high coil has a good mass, but it does not improve the problem is in the platelet coil that can be shortened if the insulation is with a fissure where the current expands a little leaks and the measurement that varies is indicative of that problem, the resistance may drop a little when it is hot but the value must be constant.

I will clean well and try, but should I change the ignition coil then?
I was searching and I only find the complete ignition for sale. I will try to buy only the coil.
Thank you very much for your help, regards

Ask in a workshop where they rewind motors and they can safely rewind it, it's simple, it's just a matter of getting the thickness of the wire and counting the turns you take away, I'm not a mechanic, just a motorcycle enthusiast, but I understand that there are people who rewind you , search on the internet how to do it. Another thing before buying make sure it is the coil take it to a good electrical workshop to test it.
