Hello, good afternoon, wherever you are.
I ask for your help to repair my nissan platina 2003 (renault symbol, clio) 1.6 petrol engine.
yesterday I got warm, the antifreeze boiled and spilled a little through the tank, fortunately the thing did not happen to adults.
I checked it and found that the radiator fan fan doesn't work.
I proceeded to fill the tank with antifreeze, and purge the system. I started it and when the engine was running, I disconnected the harness of the antifreeze temperature sensor, I expected the fan to activate but nothing happened, check the thermal fuse that is mounted on the radiator and is in good condition, I also measured the coil of the relay and it seems to be fine, in the end connect the black and pink wire that goes to the relay of the ground fan, and the fan is activated, that is, the fan is not damaged, if it works if it is connected directly to ground.
in short: the motor fan's thermal fuse was checked, the harness of the temp sensor was disconnected. and the fan was not activated, the weather also turned on and the fan is not activated as it should, finally the fan was connected directly and if it works directly. the thermostat changed it about 4 months ago along with the water intake
Before thinking about ECM or ECU, is there anything else you could advise me?
Cheers!
