The P 1710 code is specific to PSA Peugeot and refers to transmission problems only.
The only relationship that the automatic transmission has with the ABS is to share the signal of the speed sensor (VSS) through the CAN network, beyond this each one decides his or her actions individually.
The damage I referred to about the BSI does not require electronic repair, but reconfiguration with a scanner.
