Hello friends of Yoreparo! I have a Peugeot 405 GLD Mod. 95. It turns out that I started to have problems with the operation of the electric fans, with the car off and cold, they turned on at times and when it felt like it (with the car in operation they had a normal behavior ), but with the car off they turned on and off whenever they wanted, they were even lit for an indefinite period, to the point that I had to lift the terminal, the battery because otherwise I emptied it, well; I tested the 3 tubing relays and they were fine, but nothing, purge the cooling system and nothing, change the thermostat and nothing, change the sensor temperature (brown) and nothing, check the wiring status in case it was not altered the resistance level that the sensor sends and nothing, until I get to the Briton box , clean its contact terminals (they were submerged) and nothing. Then I decided to change it, I went to a friend who I had a 405 srdt thrown away and I asked for it, I put it on and the problem was subsided ... but I just found out that there are several colors of rings that identify them !! And it's true because mine was orange and I put one with a gray color. Now the question goes; In what do the Briton boxes vary according to their ring color? Can I have trouble putting a different color on it? I would like to clear this doubt, and thank you very much! Greetings!
