Good morning, my colleagues, my question is the following: I changed the focus of the indicator light on the operation of the alternator of a Chevrolet Celebrity vehicle by a LED, but now when I turn on the vehicle, the LED does not turn off as it should, what will be the problem?

Hi. But before switching to LED, did the light work well? It can happen that the normal lamp provides the excitation resistance that the alternator needs, therefore the LED with another characteristic does not fulfill that function being always on.

Hi Mangel if the original lamp did turn off but it almost didn't show and I wanted to change for a LED but it doesn't turn off

friend the led works differently because it is a diode !! you have to use the incandecent lamp that corresponds so that the alternator turns it off
