good morning friends I would like to know if someone has had this fault my stage 2004 started without going forward only to a click and pulled it off and all good just that this week he did not want to tell me it was the march or the battery but both are new and they gave me a tip that a fuse is open and is in the positive terminal of the battery and that is how I bought it and at the time of placing the positive terminal the gear began to work without the key of nothing could guide me where the problem is , I tell you that this week the battery warning light on the dashboard was switched on and the car went out as if it was not revolutionizing and the battery was discharged. I hope you can help me to know where the problem is in advance, thank you very much and have an excellent day.

friend almost sure that the starter motor is fixed, take a thin cable, disconnect it and place the battery terminal to continue running, it is certainly the starter motor!

Luis, as Bin2013 says, the click you hear is the solenoid that attaches the crown of the starter motor, but the starter does not rotate because it has worn out the coals, possibly stuck by the same wear. If the battery is sufficiently charged, it is the subject of the starter motor. Check the battery first of all too. Try to locate the starter motor, and hit it with a wooden stick or block and then try again. This is only temporary, you must replace the starter motor coals. Regards,

thanks for the contribution the starter motor is new the strange thing is that when putting the battery cables the motor turns as if it were starting but without key any other suggestion



Did the starter replace you? did you check the connection?
It must have two large studs with its nuts, one that is connected to the internal coil of the starter motor and in the other the positive of the battery.
The smallest stud is for the connection of the ignition cable of the key.



Hi Luis. When the battery positive is connected, the starter motor operates without ignition of the ignition key

. The latter what he does is the simple function of making a bridge inside to drive the starter motor, regardless of the system sis or not possessed of immobilizer, alarm, etc. In this case there may be a short in the ignition key or contactor that causes this situation

If the problem is strange, the starter motor was lowered again and it is in order, but the problem continues, just click on it, push it and start, I was encouraged to run it for about 10 km and almost to get home the warning light came on. Battery on the dashboard and the car started as if it wanted to turn off without power for this test. Charge the battery.



Thanks to all for your help I solved the problem it happens that the exhaust hopper was loose and strangely it was bridging between the battery terminal and the key so that it was aciobnaba as soon as I placed the battery, I returned to tighten the hopper in question and as it is a space of very difficult access, place red silicone on the terminals to insulate them (only in the body of the connections without affecting threads or nuts of the starter motor screws) replace the fuse that is in the positive terminal of the battery obviously burned by this detail and voala my car is like new. I tell you to carry out tests with the multimeter between the cables that go to the march and the alternator and it marked me continuity or short when solving this dellate the problem was removed in case someone happens to him this is one of its causes so that they do not have to disassemble the ignition key cylinder having excellent day and thanks again.
