Antifreeze through the acceleration body

How about everyone I have a doubt maybe the answer is obvious but I would like to know why there is an antifreeze hose that connects to some tubes that are attached to the acceleration body of my car. In a few words antifreeze flows through a tube of the acceleration body. But why? Is it necessary to cool the acceleration body? I do not know if I explain myself, comes a plastic hose of common antifreeze. Then my body of acceleration at the bottom has two copper tubes (I don't know if that material is haha) the hose is connected by one end of that copper tube and on the other side where there is also another small copper tube connected another plastic hose where tmb flows antifreeze. My question is because my car was a long time with water, and when I switched to antifreeze, it left the tartar of the copper pipes and now I have a small leak out there, and I would like to know if that connection can be canceled and put together The two hoses. Ignoring the acceleration body. Or if it is necessary to maintain it to cool the acceleration body

Hi Antonio: The water that circulates through the engine is heated, so it goes to the radiator, it cools and it returns to the engine, a part of that rather hot water goes to the base of the carburetor, why? because the carburetor is to evaporate the gasoline and achieve a good fuel air mixture, (all gas), that way you have a good combustion, Peerroo. . To evaporate the gasoline, heat is needed, it is taken from its surroundings, therefore, if you were at 100Km / H. all the gasoline that evaporates would cause the carburetor to transform into a refrigerator and freeze part of the water that carries the air. WE HAVE PROBLEMS. Then the hot water goes to the base of the carburetor to heat it and achieve a better evaporation and avoid problems, avoid its circulation would be one. . .BURRADA. I hope I was clear. luck

Hi. Some acceleration bodies have this system, but more than cooling is to maintain an adequate temperature in the acceleration system in very cold climates where the idle will even improve. But yes, you can perform an Bypass as an alternative, although it is not suggested, every element installed by factory has its specific function. Salu2.

Antonio Having used running water instead of antifreeze, you are seeing the consequences. You may have the same problem elsewhere. Colleagues have already told you why it is required to warm up the acceleration body. You have to find who can change the corroded tubes, until you get it, you can join both tubes. In winter it is when the low temperatures affect the correct mixture of air and fuel, which directly affects the performance.
