Engine failure and I don't know what else to do HELP

Greetings friends, I am from Venezuela, I am writing to you because I am the owner of a Chevrolet Silverado year 88 C10, it has a 350 engine (5.7 liters) turbocharged 700 and a carburetor with 4 mouths, the engine was repaired in the month of December as well as the automatic transmission repaired and It was very good ... the month of January was very good, everything was fine the month of February because of travel I parked it for 2 months and then I returned to Venezuela ... I put it to work and everything well ... perfect .. For 2 weeks from one day to the next the truck started to fail the engine, I thought it was a spark plug ... I check them, I clean them but it was not spark plugs ... they all work ... there is current, I check the distributor and all pins send current ... replace the spark plug wires, for some new ones ... but they all continue to send current ... replace the spark plugs ... but the engine still has a fault but all the cylinders work ... :( I don't know anymore that can be ... the mechanic tells me that it can be a bad engine valve to sitting and you have to disassemble it ... but if it were a valve, the fault would be very strong, I say? ... it is a minimum fault and sometimes the engine tones 100% and starts to fail as if it were spark plugs ... but the mechanic is I decided that I would disassemble the engine for that ... but today in the morning after 3 days without starting the truck, the carburetor hit me and began to get fat and wet all the gasoline engine ... and I didn't want to start the truck I tapped the carburetor and then I take it off and stopped embuchating. It had never happened to me, always turn on the shot at once without problems, so I spent many days off always lights well ... they think that fault is that the carburetor with 4 mouths is it dirty? or not? Bone for having dirty filth? Can the engine fail? I told the mechanic and he tells me what happened to me with the carburetor and told me ... Well, bring me the caburador and I will wash it with a tiner to clean it ... to see if the fault is removed ... what do you say but What else can I do before I disassemble the engine again?

I would start with the easiest, could it be that the gasoline had water and is what causes the small failures?

I don't think it's the gasoline because I have 2 weeks with the failure and on Saturday I refilled the tank and it's still the same but it's not a bad idea to check it to see .. now I will check the tank to see: S, I hope it's the gasoline .. hehehe

Because of your story "the carburetor stuck to me and began to get wet and wet the entire gasoline engine ... and I didn't want to start the truck I tapped the carburetor then I took off" Without being an expert, I am inclined to change the needle and seat valve, which are the ones that cut the passage of gasoline to the carburetor tank, even if the float is at its maximum. Like Mangel HH, I summarize that 3 people think the same! It is 99.99% that will solve the problem by checking and repairing the carburetor !!! It would be good if the user who asked for help says something about it! at least his advances ... big hug !!!

Dear ... The carburetor overflows because the punzua does not cut by, decalibration of the float in its drive and / or wear, its seat poor. Salu2.

I already solved the big problem I had in the truck .. I actually did service to the carburetor the mechanic washed it clean and apart from that I had an inverted cable from the distributor hehehe .. we took advantage of and cleaned the carburetor, the cable in place, we clean the spark plugs with sandpaper ... and today the truck has been 100% better ... incredibly ... without failure and without anything: D as an agency hehehe thanks brothers for the help

So the problem was the inverted cable from the distributor and not the carburetor.

Yes, thank you very much ... elektron and everyone who contributed ... if it was an inverted cable what made the engine fail and make shots hahaha .. I still cleaned the carburetor because several times it overflowed me in the morning it stuck now well ... it was an inverted cable that I don't know who would change it maybe the refrigeration technician since recently I installed a new evaporator because the previous one was damaged ... and from there the fault began ... thanks to all for your help...
