Lg 42LK450 does not read videos from the USB

Very good friends, I have a lg 42lk450 tv and for a long time I have stopped reading videos from USB sticks, it recognizes images and music but not videos. I must say that the TV already has five years of use but I do not know if that influence the problem. Any help, thanks.

I have solved that by returning it to factory conditions or also reinstalling the firmware to the most up to date.

The videos have to be in mp4 or mpg format usually for the TV to play them ... try to download a video cut with youtube mp4 ..... and if you are walking there are movie converters that you can download from the Internet ... .Cheers.
