Good evening dear friends of the community I repair, I now present a question that I have, install a Hikvision system 4 cameras and one exceeds 80 meters, it is obvious that there is a voltage drop along the cable, my question is, if I place 2 transformers 12 volts 1.5 amp. in parallel the voltage is maintained but the amperage is added to 3 amp. Could it be that if I put the 2 transformers into that camera I would not affect it by the 3 amps and the video would stabilize?

You have two options, the first is to bring the power source as close to the camera, but many times there is no way to take the current due to the distances, but for that there are 24-volt power sources and you can use a converter from 24 volts to 12 that goes in the camera and with that your problem is solved since you can pass the voltage through the same utp cable only than the sources if they are a little expensive and the converter the same.
