Hi, I have an analog tester mod sk-110 (old) but in good condition, what began to happen is that it goes from scale to ac, this does it in three of the five scales it has, ie it goes scale in 1200,300 and 120v, the funny thing is that if I heat it up a little it starts to work fine, I measured R but I get it right, I clean it but it still does the same fault. NOTE: when it works fine (without the back cover) if the blow goes out of scale, I can orientate to give a solution to this topic, thanks greetings.

If on the other scales it goes well (we assume), it seems a failure of contacts, I would check: 1) adjustment potentiometers that do not fail, 2) the switch that do not fail the contacts, 3) the resitences of the scales of A that are well welded.



Warm up with a welder and check which one gives you greater deviation. then the one of greater deviation replace it.
