What happens is that the capacitor that had already been changed had the nomenclature erased and given a size of 2.5uf I could increase by a 3uf and the doubt I have is that the neutral reaches the capacitor and goes to the engine

Capacitors have a very large tolerance margin, 2.5 or 3 MF does not make a difference. If you had erred in the connection the fan does not start. I reiterate that those fans go slowly.

Let's see, unless it is a recognized customer (those very good), in your place I would say that it is a winding problem, that nothing you can do.
Why this: Why two things can happen; 1) that there really is a problem in the starter coils, where you can do nothing, or 2) that this fan is ALWAYS THERE, so the guy calls you to see if in doubt you can "improve it", not being quite honest and making yourself waste time. In both cases, the one you lose is you. These things have happened to me, and they happen more than people imagine.
