damaged polishing machine

Greetings colleagues. I have a problem with a bosch GWS-115 polisher. 1) Apparently when making the change of coals a problem occurred either by bad installation or incorrect coals for the model. 2) It is observed that the problem is in the collector which suffered enough damage. Annex images at the bottom Can that manifold be repaired? If the collector cannot be repaired, can I change it? If you can change it, how to choose the right collector for this model? I currently have an old drill that I no longer use but it still works, I am willing to remove the collector from the felling and place it in the polisher. Could this kind of thing be done? But what interests me the most is how to choose the right collector for that model and in what parts it could be obtained. PDT: I am a newbie in these electrical issues, I am currently studying electronics, but I am very interested in the area of repairs thank you very much everyone I hope your prompt response http://archivos.yoreparo.com/uploads/imagen_post/0001/01/19a8c2f7c4af20256243d32d2cbace3b30bcbd10.jpeg" alt="" />

That should be taken to a tape drive, which undoubtedly changes the collector and is new, doing it for the first time is more expensive, and it looks bad. luck

Hello ! The collector has no repair, but if you can change it for a similar one, take photos before making the change, the cost of the collector varies depending on where you are from (for example in Mexico City the rewind of this model has a cost of 180 pesos and 250 pesos including the collector) luck and comments.

Correct what the friend Apollonius writes, and I add that if the rotor is not short you can change the collector. Before changing it, take good measurements of your position and that the degas be in the original position. Then carefully lift the hooks that connect the wires, and remove the collector. The position of these wires will guide you to each thin. Lucky PD after you have finished it you must give a rectifier to the collector with a turner, make sure that it does not get loose on the shaft

No, it is almost impossible to change the collector only, you should rewind the armature. I say almost impossible because that type of armature is varnished with an epoxy varnish, which is very hard and difficult to remove in order to lift the tips, which in turn are attached to the collector with spot welding, so they will be cut some tips and it will be difficult to repair them.
