Good afternoon, they brought me a fan to check, the strange thing is that the power cable does not connect to the capacitor. It is a 6-wire three speed motor. connected like this: gray wire is power blue, red and white wires are as speeds black and yellow wire is the capacitor the gray cable has no continuity with any other color and between black and yellow does not give any measure of resistance I think a coil is burned or open although I opened the engine and it doesn't look damaged or burned I appreciate the help atten. Check the resistance of the fields by means of the tester. If it has variable or is broken or is in bad condition.

Pdd: R's should only vary if you rotate the shaft. If you don't move the axis they are fixed R.

good afternoon alberto, look at the reels that I measured are like that;
white-blue: 34 ohm and varies when I rotate the shaft
white-red: 58 ohm and varies when the shaft is rotated
red-blue: 92 ohm and varies when the shaft is rotated
These are the speed cables.
now the wires where the capacitor goes (yellow and black)
between them does not give continuity
yellow-white: 249 ohm and varies when turning axis
yellow-blue: 215 ohm and varies when turning axis
yellow-red: 308 ohm and varies when turning axis
black-white: 313 ohm and varies to rotate shaft
black-blue: 348 ohm and varies when turning axis
black-red: 255 ohm and varies when turning axis
the gray does not continue

good afternoon I think you have to measure all the tips only five should give continuity but a coil must be intervened and measure the wires from end to end

If you do not have continuity between the gray (neutral and 3 of the speeds the thermal fuse is blown (it is on the winding, follow the gray wire and you will find it, it is protected by a spaghetti) to check this without disassembling the motor makes a bridge between one of the capacitor wires and the neutral (gray), with a pin or needle, click one of the capacitor wires and check continuity between the pin and the neutral, if it marks you O it is correct if it marks you a different value the other cable and repeat the above, once having this (the bridge) check continuity between the gray cable and the speeds if there is continuity the thermal fuse is open and you must change it for a similar one, this is the solution to the fault but you must look for The origin of this, may be due to lack of mantle, bushings and rotor in poor condition, luck and comments.

thanks apolonio if there was a thermal fuse between the gray and black wire. and making the bridge the same did not give continuity the yellow wire with the black that normally there must be a measurement as reny said, thanks for the help. I will send the stator to rewind

The bridge must be made between the gray and black cable, the bridge must start the motor (the capacitor must be connected) and the motor must start since the thermal fuse is blown (there must be no continuity between the capacitor cables), Good luck and comment.
