Hi everyone, thanks for your time. I went to see a martin and martin ceiling fan that wasn't walking. What I tried was to bypass the different speeds of the fan from the traditional mechanical enhancer to see if it started and with the minimum speed I was trying to force but not moving it. I thought it could be a bad connection of the windings and the capacitor, or improper capacitor. I measured the two windings with the taster to identify starting work and common. And I connected the 2.75 uF capacitor in series to the start, the neutral directly to the work and the phase to the common. Well, that way I started it and burned the starter winding to my regret! Now does anyone know how to tell me that I was wrong? The capacitor I had. When I arrived that someone had changed it, I didn't understand it, it was 2.5 pfu and I changed it to another one that was the same but new, and then the winding was cut. Anyway I am disoriented ...
