Water pumps

tank filling with water pump + tank and network at the same time

Hello people I have a problem, from the entrance of the network, I made a bypass and filled a tank tank to pump up, because sometimes there is not enough pressure, the issue is that I want to use the pump only when it is needed if I press it It arrives to fill the tank alone without using a pump, more than anything in winter the pressure is good. The issue is that the pump outlet inserts it in the same ascent to the tank, which in turn is connected to that of the street network, therefore when the pump starts the water returns with pressure to the tank and makes An endless closed circuit. Of course, if I turn off the pump, the water would go up by itself, the objective is to have the pump connected (with their respective electronic floats) and turn it on only if necessary (when the water in the network does not have sufficient pressure) this in summer which is more frequent, in winter it would turn it off directly. Maybe placing a check valve in the bypass of the water inlet to the pump? regards.

Hi you must have two check valves One in the network and another in the discharge of the tank, the latter if the pump is higher than the tank already has to be placed, if the pump is level or lower than the base of the tank, you will surely have to place the valve both valves have to make sense of movement towards the elevated tank you should keep in mind that depending on the type of pump, it can be detrimental that it does not have starts for long periods You can also do it manually with 2 stopcocks and choose where you want to get water, they would be placed in the network line and in the discharge of the cistern and open one and close the other if the engine will not work all winter long, the ideal would be to disassemble and dry it in the elevated tank you must have a mechanical float and the level switch regulated in such a way that the cutting level is below the closing of the mechanical float

In my opinion, that is for hydropneumatic systems, which the consultant does not have, may work but does not match the available materials that the query describes

hello elektromaq ... I don't know ... it doesn't give more details ... my contribution is a possible automatic solution based on pressure differences ... if it doesn't work for you or you can't implement it, well, that you discard it or keep it in mind for the future ...

OK in the graphic I understand what the check valve 1 had occurred to me to place it right there, I do not understand why the check valve 2 is needed. Can the pump allow water to enter in the opposite direction? (I mean by the output of this with the network pressure?). The network pressure in my city is 5kg, but right now in summer it drops a lot.

check valve 2 is to prevent the pump from pressurizing water to the tank
