They brought me to repair a pair of XBOX 360 controls, both originals which the problem they have is that the left stick is operating or towards one direction (each to a different one)
The fact is that I have been seeing possible solutions on the internet, such as changing full stick (I could not do it since it is very complicated), changing potentiometer (simpler but I must disassemble the trigger and I could not do it and I do not want to insist not to burn the plate), I have put lubricant clean contacts (it has not worked), I have changed from the potentiometer the round piece that is the one that moves the contact with the resistance (without changes). The potentiometer is marking halfway and when moving to one side or the other makes the measurement.
There is also the option of stretching a spring that is below the lever, which brings it back to the center. I cannot do it because of the level of disassembly I need and I do not have the time or the right tools or skills, I have tried but I have not achieved favorable results
The fact is that none of the possible solutions was for me, from which I was able to perform which seems strange to me since almost all the controls are solved in that way.
I wanted to know if anyone has more knowledge about video game controls since I don't know electronically if there can be another option. Maybe I know if there is a filter (capacitor) or something similar that can give that fault since I don't understand what can happen.
If something contributes I have the same problem with a PS4 control, only that of XBOX I have no way to test them since they are wireless and I have no adapter.
