Hello friends, I have a Suzuki gn125h from 2007 and the battery that has 12v 7ah is bad because I am not aged the charge is discharged from one day to the next and the motorcycle charges perfectly is the battery? I bought a new battery of 12 v 14 ah because there are no others because I live in Cuba and at the moment there is nowhere, well the mountain tried flashing lights all ok the neutral light ok, when I gave it to start the problem started the Starter made to start and with it the neutral light went out and did not turn on anything or lights anything, I measured the battery voltage was zero. When I closed the pooch he came back at 12.9 volt and when I open it drops to zero just as it was in short, I tried the battery outside an ups of my PC and it worked perfectly for 40 minutes and on the motorcycle when I put the old one works OK, My big question is whether it will be the battery or is that these motorcycles do not support so much amperage. Greetings and thanks for your attention.

Hello friend, I tell you the theme of the amperage of a battery is based on the consumption of your motorcycle, that you put a 7 ampers hour or one of 14 or one of 20 is not a problem, the amperage is the ability to contain the battery energy, if you put the old battery, everything works and when you place the new battery only the lights that require very little energy and the starter motor that requires a lot of energy to move the motorbike motor do not work, the problem is the battery especially Because it's new

Hello, thank you for your attention, I don't know much about electricity but I figured that the amperes had nothing to do with it, so the safest thing is that this battery, despite being new, has a factory defect or could be the initial charge that does not have they done well?

Your motorcycle, and each motorcycle in the battery carries a code ... example (12n5-3b) that calls the size the vomiting and the amperage that each motorcycle generates ... it is possible to put any dentri of the stator or coil charge range lower, but ... if all the current is probably there is a cable, melted touching the ground ... if not, only the fuse would burn, many times in the wiring, where it bends under the Christ, they are usually cut off and I stay rubbing or disconnecting cables ... where they leave the lighthouse and go backwards, just where the cables are bent, a good bro! and I recommend you try a battery similar to the original, so borrowed.

Friend jem85 I do not want to be offended with the question but will you be connecting the new battery well Polarity ____ good ground ___ and the fuse that may be that by pulling the cable for a larger battery make a false contact As the friends tell you the battery is no problem regards

Hello, not calm, because I put the battery well and the cables are not short or nothing, right now I looked for leaks with a multimeter set to amperage, the closed dog disconnect the negative of the battery I put the negative of the meter to the negative terminal of the battery and the positive to the negative of the branch and then I tried the accessories and nothing all right 0.00 there is no leak the truth is a mystery as I said with the old battery everything punctures what the battery no longer holds charge every morning I have to push to start it and with the new battery it doesn't work for me. I don't know what else to try

Hello friends, because if it was the new battery after downloading and charging it three times, it started working ok. Thank you very much for your help.
