Hello, thanks for the answer ... how would that mercury be by source and ammeter ... the coil is completely stripped of the carcass ... I need to clear all suspicion that the coil is bad and make sure that when assembling the complete alternator does not fail ...
To take consumption reading, as Mr. Torres tells you, put rotor, ammeter and source (it can be the same battery) in series. It gives you the consumption in amperes.
