Hello everyone! A few days ago my truck dynamo died (dynamo that was done again a few months ago), I guess the voltage regulator did not cut and caused it to burst, burned the fields and the winding. After searching on several sides I got a dynamo just like mine used, they say they took it out to convert the vehicle to 12 volts, which should run smoothly. Now my doubt, I try it as an engine and the dynamo is doing the best but at the moment of testing if it loads it barely reaches 0.7 volts, I read there that I have to excite it but I thought that I had to do it when regulating voltage How do I have to try to see if it loads? What I do is make a bridge between the 2 terminals, measure there and in the body of the dynamo. The dynamo is a 6 volt remy delco from the year 51, regulates by mass and has 2 outputs A and F. I do not dare to try it in the car until I get a new voltage regulator, I do not want to break this dynamo. I appreciate any help
