Hello everyone, and greetings from Chile. My query, I have a diesel truck, nissan navara 2012, and sometimes it loses strength, the scanner indicated failure in the MAP sensor, look for information but I did not find it, it is normal for them to have 3 connectors, but this one has 5, the colors of the cables They are red. White. Green. Black red. I don't know if besides MAP. You will have another integrated sensor. I would appreciate if someone knows how to try it, I have sources and digital tester. Greetings from Biobio, Chile

This sensor is located very close to the air filter. And there is my doubt if it is the MAP sensor, because it is normal that it is after the butterfly that controls the intake. We must consider that it has a turbocharger.

There are 2 sensors in 1 connector ... the map and other temperature. That's why the 5 wires 3 of the map 2 temp.

Thanks Canary, looking at the connector I have 2 red wires at the ends, but from one side it is Red, Black and Green, I suspect that these are from the MAP, the other two that follow would be White and Red would be of the temperature sensor, please if possible corroborate, For MAP I understand that it is necessary to energize with 5 Vdc. Greetings from the Biobio. I know that it has been a great caho to put a photo, so I have not shown it, but I have it, as is the connector and its cables.

Check these two videos, analyze, take note and then go to your vehicle and check your Map sensor, temperature and air flow, they are 2 or 3 sensors on the same pin, the measurement will tell you.

Following several opinions of mechanical workshops there is no consensus on the fault that the navara has, others recommend me to install a truck to eliminate the DPF, What you need to do is take it to service, but here in Chilito it is so expensive that I think it will be thrown away. The other would be to discard, but it would still be very expensive, so I ask here, if anything could be done. regards

So no more ... only the DPF, costs practically 2 million pesos and apparently the dpf failed for something bad in the bba. fuel transfer, another million pesos, and still .... I could probably have other details in some other sensor, but the work of hand, would be everything. With this diagnosis I need to know what I can do to not leave it thrown away .....
Atte.
