Problem with Ford Focus 1.6L Speedometer

Goodnight everyone: Recently I was able to buy my first car. A Focus One Ambient 1.6 L. I am doing things to leave him 10 points. The problem that I cannot solve is that the Velocimeter does not work. PEEERO, the problem is not that it does not work, because if I change the 30A fuse it starts working. But it is about 2km (or less) and the fuse flies. Does anyone have any idea what it can be?

I pass you a pdf link on the electrical wiring of the Focus, several models, I hope it works for you. If I find the electrical diagram I let you know.

Celen ..... Solved. Thanks for the diagram. The fuse controls among other things, the Lambda Probe, and this is the one that was short. Nothing to do with the sensor or anything like that. Disconnect it until you get the new and problem solved.

Puff that good to find the fault. There is nothing more cumbersome than electrical problems in a car

I should get the diagram and see that ELEMENTS protects that 30A fuse. It is very amperage so it has to be more than lights. Apart from the tachometer is there anything else that doesn't work? If you have an airbag, will they not be disconnected?

Yes, I am trying to get it. The problem is that I was checking and found bridged cables to the speed sensor. What already is a problem.

It is the bad thing about when people reach out to solve problems and not solve the problem, if not that complicates it more. It is a fuse to withstand a lot of power.

If the fuse blows on you. WELL that is short, doesn’t it tell you just that. A speed power cable is grounded.

I am sorry to disappoint your obvious answer but there is nothing short, the problem is that it has a bridged cable that is carrying more current than is due. I am tracking where it comes from and trying to see why they did it this way since I am not only having problems with the speedometer, but also with the central locking (which, when it reaches 10km closes, or should close the doors), apparently the Airbags as @celentauro says well and also something with the Gas team. They put a lot of hand.

Look, a short is when a cable is altered, hacked, or in contact with another. What causes overheating, malfunction, burning of rifles. I obviously did not mean badly.
