Greetings friends of YoReparo. I need to patch a long portion between the windshield and the torpedo of my car, previously the patch with magic putty, but it did not last long and they told me to use fiberglass, buy the Kit that brings the cloth or fiber wool, the Resin, Catalysts that are two, one lilac (purple) and the other transparent. They told me 50 drops of each for a liter of resin, but if I do so I will lose all the resin, and I don't need that much, someone knows how to make the mixture for less resin and the conditions to apply it (proper temperature, in winter or summer, etc.) I have the vehicle outdoors under a shed (roof only) Thanks in advance.

Hello, it is relative, you do not have to do the whole liter, if for example you grab or divide the liter in 10 parts to that part you are only going to make 5 drops of each of the components., If you use ¼ of a liter this will You will put 12 to 13 drops of each component. An ambient temperature of a sunny day will help drying, greetings.

First of all, my thanks to John People for taking the time and answering. Now, I have how to make the mixture so as not to use the entire product and share it: Put some resin in a container. Then add a few drops of the lilac catalyst, the resin will take a more or less pink color. Then add droplets of the clear catalyst, until it looks pink and returns to the original color of the resin. Not much catalyst should be used to prevent it from hardening very soon. EYE : NO leaving the catalyst bottles together, because they become inflamed, if there is contact between the liquids, it produces fire. The same happens if a lot of catalyst is used in the mixture.
