Hi Oswaldo
What you mention charging it for an hour, the battery will be charged only with 10% of its charge, so if it starts, it will not start again, being discharged without moving it.
It must be charged at least 10 hours.
Thank you for your answers
I was fed up and put it to charge with a 19 v 2.3 amp charger
About 2 hours, I started but after a while no longer. I am not sure whether to charge it for so long in case I get to damage the battery ... When I start pushing it, I press the accelerator pedal for a little while and the lights become more luminous, as if charging only with that. That is why it may be downloaded to me as long as I do not use it as you say oswaldo. What do you think
I also when that happened to me I charged it as I indicated with a 15v, at 8 amps in the case of my battery for more than an hour, then the charge was completed with the long use I gave it, because my alternator is Well, and when I didn't use it for days, I disconnected the battery, and after days I plugged it in and it starts, so it keeps its charge
Now as I realized that the alternator charges, I easily started the car with the battery and turned on the lights, then disconnected the negative edge of the battery and the lights were still on, this indicates that the alternator is working, now I put a voltmeter and I mark 14v, with this corroborate its operation.
What happened in my case was that the battery was half bad, could not hold a charge for a long time, bone was discharged, a seal was bad and the acid in general was cloudy, this can happen after 2 years.
