About 2 hours, I started but after a while no longer. I am not sure whether to charge it for so long in case I get to damage the battery ... When I start pushing it, I press the accelerator pedal for a little while and the lights become more luminous, as if charging only with that. Now as I realized that the alternator charges, I easily started the car with the battery and turned on the lights, then disconnected the negative edge of the battery and the lights were still on, this indicates that the alternator is working, now I put a voltmeter and I mark 14v, with this corroborate its operation.

What happened in my case was that the battery was half bad, could not hold a charge for a long time, bone was discharged, a seal was bad and the acid in general was cloudy, this can happen after 2 years.
