The loss of oil is due to wear on the turbo rotor shaft, the oil leaks into the intake, burns in the combustion process and hence the smoke from the exhaust.
The repair consists of replacing the central core taking advantage of the old body, it is as new at a cost of 60% of what it would cost whole.
Difficult to detail the disarmament if there is no knowledge of mechanics above the basics, there is only one way to remove it, complete and quite laborious, it is removed with multiple included, then the turbo itself is extracted, and this is easily removed core of the photo, the new one is put on without any adjustment or calibration as it comes and ready, but getting to the last point is no small matter.
