Hello, I have a 2003 2003 machine 2.0 dodge, the car runs very well only that it has a detail, when turning on the A / C, the car fails to respond, you step on the accelerator and walk very little, turn off the A / C and the car advances as if nothing. Why should the problem ?. I already took it to 3 mechanics 1 Dodge specialist and they don't know. Please help

If the ignition is too early, (to the limit), when the AA enters. The automatic accelerates the engine to compensate for the overload due to the start of the compressor, (it consumes between 3 and 5 Hp.), and advances the ignition, when you step on the accelerator, it also produces a spark advance, it passes and then the explosion occurs with the piston very high, so that the thrust force is made on the crankshaft. Loses power to be applied to the torque of the wheels, try to delay the ignition one degree. luck

Even if I had a loading problem .. it should work fine. If it were the alternator it would give you constant starting problems. Responsible for stabilizing the engine with an overload such as Ac is the iac valve that depends on the air sensor or map / maf sensor that is in the intake. When the air sensor detects little air intake, it instructs the iac to accelerate the engine to normalize the acceleration .. if one of the 2 is failing the ride is painful. It is easy to detect that fault with a multimeter by taking the readings when you turn on the Ac. Both the maf or the iac valve have to vary their values with normal work and overload. It is an electronic problem rather than a mechanic, so a mechanic will not be able to help you. I hope it helped you.
