Hello to the whole community, my question is more, I have a renault 19 short tail car which has a single point carburetor, I would like to know how the key has to be to work on gasoline here is a photo of the switch ..

It depends on how they have programmed it. With the key pressed to the right there are 2 scenarios: 1- The green light of the spout turns on. 2- The charge indicator lights flash or turn on moving from side to side. For case 1, that is the position to run Nafta. If 2 occurs, it is in Emergency mode, where it starts and works only on gas. The left position will be to start gasoline and then switch to gas when accelerating (you will always need the original injection system to start). In the center will be the Naphtha-only mode.

Obviously, the switch is set to work in the mode that the manual calls Injection, although the car can run in Carburetor mode even if it does not. To operate gasoline, it would be by placing the key in the central position and making sure that 12V appears in that position on the yellow wire coming out of the switch; Then it depends what they have done in the installation, if you have an injector emulator or cutting relay for fuel pump injector and any of these does not work well, it will not start gasoline.

To be 100% safe, without making many measurements, that the CNG team does not disable gasoline operation, it should be disconnected from all sides and follow the injector wiring to re-join the place where they intervened, the same for the pump of gasoline if we don't hear it work. If other sensors are emulated, they would not affect to start the engine at least.
