Hi. When splicing to be safe (this is what companies do) you must do it with two F tabs with pollerite and a threaded connection nipple. Once you have checked that the signal is clean and without rain to protect the splice of water you should give it a couple of turns of self-vulcanizing tape. Once placed, it definitively seals the entrance of water and humidity. Regards
