friends, I'm repairing a 32-inch sony trinitron tv which I checked and got a burnt horizontal transistor I replaced it with another one that I got in my stock .. I gave it to turn on and it didn't turn on I proceeded my measurements and everything was perfect but I noticed that on the plate no There were only input voltages 5 volts were present I decided to jump to the plate of the source that is separated .. the serial of the board is TCI-A7I I proceeded to measure there were no voltages of 9volt output nor those of B + only left the source of the 5 volts that were present on the main board .. in the measurements I got the resistor R607 molten fusistor had no measurement to replace it and re-melted by logic disassemble the MX-0841 dual transistor proceeded to measure it and all its pins were in Shortly I proceeded to buy it and I did not get anywhere it is sold out .. investigating a little I got a possible solution that was to place 2 transistors C4834 but I also did not get them down their data sheets and verify that in m i stock i have 4 transistors 2 transistors D13007K and 2 transistors P-13009-0. Download the data sheet and they look like the transistor that should be taken that is the MX-0841. Well, I decided to place the D13007K first, putting its adaptation base collector and emitter as it should take the MX-0841, I check everything before connecting, I proceed ... connect the voltage source and stable output 138.5 volt in the source and the 9 volt now if the voltages came out .. I decided to connect the source to the main board and the TV turned on when I gave the order I left about 10 minutes on and the TV was normal I proceeded to touch the transistors and they were cold they did not touch or warm I proceeded to I touched the horizontal transistor and it was hot a little more than normal I think in 10 minutes I felt it was hot .. I decided to turn off the TV and when I turned it on again a D13007k exploded taking with it a polyester condenser with the numbering 684 the 2 exploded the fusistor resistor did not melt the horizontal transistor either .. I would like you to help me see what I am wrong with or what possible solution we can give before placing the last 2 transistor is that I have left that are the P-13009-O that according to their data sheet are 12 amps and I need to know please what capacitor I can put since in all my stock I don't get that number I don't have much knowledge in those capacitors

companion. I don't have the diagram, but in electronic community there is a tutorial on how to work that sony tv. What I remember is 1 .- that you have to remove the flyback and place the focus of 75 / 100w of the bmas to ground, this to check the source. 2.- connect the plug to the secondary of a transformer that has an output of 20 / 50VAC. 3.- If possible, assemble a dimer and the plug in parallel with the focus (with the focus of the dimer) so that in this way you can have control over the applied voltage, and thus measure the polarization voltage of each transient. We get to place two multimeters to check the voltage of both transistors. comment. regards. Felipe ascencio

I would like to know the capacitor that exploded according to the numbers is 684 as I can replace it with another number or that I can put since I do not have much knowledge about capacitors of that type I think it is polyester

companion. I don't have much data on those capacitors. but some electronic houses get them on request. What I do know, they have to be original. (Sony has always been like this). regards. Felipe ascencio
