Hi. You provide a poor report on the state of the tv. To help you better, you should measure the tensions as colleague neg says. And comment them.
Measure the stresses on the tube plate. If it reaches 180v or only measures there voltage of + b. According to the measured voltage, it will indicate that the horizontal works. Even for thousandths of seconds.
Place a 200w incandescent bulb in "SERIES" between the + and the flaybac pin.
Plug in the TV and in ST mode measure the + b, (keep the tedter there) if it does not have a large short the focus should not turn on. If you don't do it from PW. See what the focus is at that moment.
Answer something Robert. You are raining suggestions and you shine for your absence
gentlemen of the forum I measured the tensions of the tube and if it reaches 180v and in the flayback there are 110v in the + b the tv turns on and the horizontal transistor overheats the filaments of the tube do not turn on it is heard but does not give video and at the moment when an antenna is set, over-oscillation is heard and turned off
Obviously something is consuming the filament voltage of the tube. See if you have the 25v in cathode of the D404 diode that comes out of Pin 6 of the Fly Back after FR402 = 0.47 ohms. I measured and commented on the result.
gentlemen yes shine by the absence but I comment again from here to Monday because I am repairing this tv at the owner's home and these days and been in other jobs I apologize and I appreciate the help provided until now I will do my best to bring that tv to my house to be able to work it faster and be aware of your contributions thanks and good day
Hi ... How did it go with the repair ??? Do not forget to give a Like if I helped you. regards
Hello friends of the forum again I will start with this review because the owner of the TV brought it to me tonight I will take the voltage measurements in the components that mention me and in the course of this week I tell you how I goes with this fault
hello Jose Luis e measured the voltage of diode 404 and if there is a voltage of 28 volts and the chassis is MC-005A
If you do not turn on the Tube filament, after making sure it is not burned, you should measure the FR401 that comes out of Pin 10 of the Fly Back. Also the voltage at the cathode of D406. If there is tension there, make sure you find continuity from the FR401 to the Filament Pin of the Tube Socket, previously removing the plate from the Tube barrel. Comment results.
