good morning folks, what happens is that a samsung tv with ks9 chassis with short split screen on the yoke arrived, I changed it but now I keep the image very wide vertically.I already shorten it by service mode but I am missing more, this tv has ic vert la78040, I have heard that modifying a resistance will be corrected but I don't know which one, I appreciate your valuable help,

You can put one of 2.2 ohm and another of more value, 5.6 ohm for example so that it does not reduce so much.It means leaving the 2.2ohm and try with a larger one until the correct image is left.

Hi. The advice of colleagues is fine. but but you don't mention opening electrolytic changes in the vertical circuit. Which are very important. Maybe the malfunction of one or more of them causes that failure. Reason that can not regulate the Serbian way or the yoke is not the same. If the resistance varies, it will work. But if you have devalued electrolytes or any resistance the problem will manifest itself again.
