greetings community, I bring you a problem that I had with a samsumg TV, it disconnected it completely from the cinecope and I only have the K112 chassis plate, I put it in series with a protection bulb, which turns on completely indicating a short , added to this is a hum that comes around the chopper transformer, the first thing I did was remove the TSH and the flayback, and the problem continued, given my little experience in the TV area, I started to take out the following capacitors in this order near chopper transformer c807 (22uf 250v) and there was still the short and the hum, then c806 (100uf 200v) the problem continued and finally c821 (47uf 250v) here the short and hum was eliminated, I thought that here was the problem in this capacitor, but then re-welded all the removed components and leave the c821 disconnected, then connect the tv to the network and returned the short with the hum, take measurements on the main filter of the 220uf 400v capacitor source and it is I have fallen to about 14 volts, I don't know if the SMR 4000c multiregulator will have anything to do with it, I have no knowledge of how to test it, but your guide guides my community, thanks in advance for any help, the chassis diagram would also help me thanks .

Hello, notice that in the 125V line where you changed the capacitor if I am not wrong that it is the one that goes to the fly back pin 9 is the diode D406 I think it is R2KN that is not short.

I eat them friends, check what the friend Carlos Quiroga remembers me, and the diode is fine. Then choose to reconnect the TV the TV began to hum and turn on the bulb in series, start measuring voltages at the source using the large filter negative and start with pin 1 of the SMR4000C, moving to pin 2 when placing the tip of the test I noticed that the bulb was beginning to decrease the intensity, I gave several touches with the tip and somehow removed the buzzer and turned off the bulb, measured the voltage on pin 3 and got around 59 volt on pin 5 I got -9volt in others

zero, another measurement was in the flayback and in the collector of the TSH I obtained around 159volt, which I think according to it has been read in this community that the source is revoked, but it will be that the SMR4000C will root the problem there

Note that pin2 joins the 6 of HC801 which is the control of the SMR, note the source capacitors that may be causing the problem.

ok carlos, check that line and ok, but you mentioned me the HC801, look for information about it and found that it has an 8.2volt zener internally between legs 2 and 3 of it, if it is short it causes many problems (http: //www.guiatecnica.webs.com/BOLETIN%2014%20-%20COMO%20SE%20REPARA%20EL%20MODULO%20HC801%20DE%20SAMSUNG.pdf) on this page, and it is actually among those pins a short, here already the stores selling parts closed, I had to wait until Monday to buy a zener diode to place it on the outside, if you have another accessory let me know
