Greetings, I have a TV, chassis CN-001, the issue is that the TV, when I turned on the screen was blank and with some horizontal stripes, apart there was no sound. I replaced the integrated TDA 7267 and when I went to turn on the screen it went blank, with stripes but after a few seconds it got smaller and finally turned off, but the audio still works. The question is that now, when I give the power button the TV turns on and has sound, but image nothing, the screen looks as if it did not turn on. Apart from that I suppose the flyback works because when I download the screen sucks it generates a small arc. By the way, what is the heater for? Finally the problem is: when I turn on the TV, the sound is heard well, but there is no image, it is more the screen is as if it were turned off. thanks in advance, I'll be waiting for your answer.

Good afternoon: Is the chassis CN-001 dry, does it have no additional letter? ... Regarding the fault, it may be because the voltage of 180/200 volts for the three RGB amplifier transistors is absent or poorly filtered , which are on the small TRC plate. You should clarify the first question to tell you where to measure tensions or where to look, if you do not know .... Regarding the Heater / Filament / heater, I recommend that you review the vacuum valves, and the effect that Edison discovered in the process of manufacturing incandescent light bulbs

Ok, thanks for answering, I usually repair industrial equipment but on TV I don't have any experience. I'm going to check and tell you.

It can be interpreted that way ... But I can say that the TRC tube is a vacuum lamp and like every vacuum lamp it needs a heating to work (Filament / HEATER). But for me, for me who loves electronics, it is not enough, so for me the good thing is to review history, I see with sadness that there are teachers who urge to learn by forgetting history ... Anyway ...

It is very good that they are intruded on the subject. This is recommended.
As you say There is a very useful tool, which is the Internet. You have to use it. Very served everything is not good. To learn. Let them study the basics.

Hi. For better help you have to measure voltage of + b. scrin tension chroma tension video tension See if it turns on filament. That is the same to say Heather. Heatler = filament. A hidden inspection of components and welds is made to TVs. With clean plate, good light and magnifying glass. Verify that electrolytes are not inflated. Resistors burned. Black reheated plate. The cut circuit or broken plate. Review welds well from the vertical flyback source. The shrinkage may be for several reasons. A good start in the repair is to know if the source is ok. As a test reduce the scrin and see if it turns off or if the screen darkens. control or change the 180v chroma electronics. 250v

I think it's control or control / Change the 180 volt electrolytic, (I think I'm falling behind, everyone is using Smart Phone to navigate)

Greetings to all, thanks for responding. Finally I began to read the complete theory of the operation of the CRT TVs and with the guidance of their comments I set out to seek with greater expertise the solution to the problem: -I realized that the high voltage winding worked because the suck was energized. -I assumed that having sound but no image the TV did not activate any circuit of failure shutdown. -Imagine that not seeing the red light in the CRT tube that I suppose will be the interaction of the filament and the mesh, the voltage of the Heater was not coming and indeed it was, since a resistance in the output stage was burned, but interestingly it was after the node that takes the signal to the control integrated.

Good thing he found the fault.
But, but, if filament did not turn on you can never see delay lines with white screen.
And filament attached with those delay lines is another problem. This last symptom is not solved with the filament R (changing it) must have done something else.

Clarify the contributions and if it is convenient, close the subject where it says Yes, thanks is my solution.
