Maybe what you mean is that the TV does not have a vertical seal and this is passing the image from the bottom up, I did not get any diagram so I do not know how old or so modern the TV is, some old TVs bring the vertical frequency adjustment with adjustable potentiometer, others bring it with electronic adjustment through eprom memory, if you have the diagram upload it or upload the link for download .... greetings.
Do not necessarily change it for now but if you have one to test directly do it ... if you do not have take out the selector and solve it carefully wash it check that there are no unions and reinstall and test ... but first check the voltages to the selector that are fixed without variations
javier good afternoon .. mount another varicap and some channels full and others with the same fault
Is there a difference with the previous selector or is everything still the same? That is to say with the previous selector the channels behaved the same or with this other selector it was corrected in some channels .... comment that voltages are reaching the selector and upload an image of the plate from the top ... check if in the board is indicated that voltages must be in the selector if you do not comment on those found on the selector pins with the TV on ...
With the selector q set you tune some channels well and others with the fault ... with the selector that had all the channels with the fault
selector voltages:
AGC :: 7.3v
BM: 8.8V
IF: 0V
BT: 32.8V
BP: 5.2V
CLOCK: 0V
DATA: 0V
ENABLE: 0V
The voltages to the selector are within the normal value .... apparently it could be having problems in components between the selector and the jungle try changing the capacitors at this stage that tv is old could be giving problem ... the channels look good color does not fail?
javier: the color is fine, I have had it on for an hour as it warms up and the other channels already work well can dry filters (condensers) as you say.
It could be ... although it would be good to give this selector a touch of solder internally, taking care not to damage the printed circuit and leave no joints ...
Javier: I already retouched the 2 selectors and if they improved but some channels with the fault and when it heats up TV it improves
