If you have a red horizontal line (from side to side) and lack of sound. Verify that the SERVICE SWITCH is in the correct position. If the fault persists, the problem could be in the jungle IC, perhaps due to a lack of power to the IC or an internal fault. As discard tests and to focus the origin of the fault: Indicate the series and the voltages obtained in each of the pins of the vertical IC. Check the good condition of the polarization and work components on the pins of the vertical IC including the yoke in its vertical section. You say red vertical line. That indicates horizontal circuit failure. I put antenna and has no audio?
Or a dvd? So do not see image. It may be in AV mode and if you place an antenna you will not have audio.
It depends on the model of the TV some need to make a car program. Others do not.
