Hello colleagues! It turns out that this TV does not turn on or the standby LED, the source is working in parts, checking I found the PC130 capacitor cut in half which generates a spark when connecting the TV to the 100VAC line, I want to know if someone knows its value to be able to replace it, it is just the one that is located between PC3 and PC4, beforehand grac ias.

Hello Friend, sorry for the delay. I tell you, some time ago I got the same TV, same type, same model. Apparently the capacitor failure is quite recurrent, since, I had the same problem, the TV did not turn on and there was less voltage at the output of the power source. Well, I told you, I saw if I had the 220V on the PCB and at the entrance of the Trafo, if I had them, but at the output there were zero volts, so I unplugged the TV, and I started checking the output and I realized that the Traffic was short-circuited and with zero resistance on its output, for a moment I thought it was the bad traffic, but no, I isolated the output of the traffic from all of the following and it was fine, I isolated the output diodes (PD6, PD7, PD8) .. and they were good, I disconnected the filter capacitors (PEC2, PEC3, PEC4) .. they were also good, the short-circuit continued so I dismantled the capacitors PC129 and PC130 and voila, PC129 was short-circuited, I changed it for a 0.1uF / 50V tantalum worked great. I thank him who mentioned the 0.1uF capacitor. I attached an image to guide you better. As additional data: the output voltage of the standby traffic is zero and in operation (before the diodes) is 13.3Vac and 12.9Vdc after the diodes, the PCA6 capacitor 470uF / 16V, the fuse is 2A, the long capacitor that is close to the traffic is 68uF / 450V. Greetings to all.

Thank you very much for your information, as a strange thing it happened to me too

What will be the origin of these short-circuited SMD capacitors? I'm still wondering but I find it hard to find the reason.

Manufacturing defect or poor quality or the worst: capacitors that are not for that voltage

a question the smd capacitors pc129 and pc130 both are 0.1uf., because I have the same problem with that same model I hope your answer thanks.

Remove them and put new 0.1uF and that is the defect of that TV the power source does not work, does not filter well

Thanks, I removed it and the TV responded without any problem. Now it's on trial.

Friend I of you would look for LCD or damaged cards that use this type of condenser of the same thickness and try it

Hello, it is in parallel with PC129 sure it is equal to him, if you have a capacitive meter but I would put one of 0.1 micros or nothing in its defect, greetings

Thanks Friends for responding! I was looking for information on this TV and I did not find the service manual, if I found how someone had already solved that fault by putting a 0.1uF 50V capacitor just as friend TobiasTv says, I did so and the TV worked perfectly. I appreciate your contributions ... greetings and blessings.

Greetings to colleagues, could you help me with the same model ?, I need to know the type of diode that is under the 3 large diodes, the PD16 I think it is, thank you very much

Can someone help me with this same model? I need to know the voltages of the Yellow Transformer, the large one with the PT1 code, the secondary outputs, how many volts are the ones delivered? prior to Transistors PD6, PD7 and PD8 ... Because I have one that the source has burned and no longer turns on.

They are Diodes, sorry they are not transistors

If in fact, the problem is that it damages the power source, I don't know what voltages are the ones that the PT1 transformer, the big one, has to adapt a power source

Good afternoon friends, I am going to give you the problem that they mention with the PC130 capacitor, how bad it is that voltage is because above they mention 0.1mf but the voltage is supposed to be 16v or not?
enigmahernandez

No, being ceramic, you must put it at 150V

Just now I had the same problem with my TV, I will perform the steps of the review and repair to see if I can revive my TV. I will confirm how I went with the solution.

Thanks Tulio, I managed to solve the TV problem, I confirm that with a 0.1uf capacitor (104) I worked without problems, to see how long it lasts: D
