Good afternoon This TV was still giving a pair of burned LEDs and a few days ago it began to be the fault described in the title I would think it is because of the LEDs that I would need to know the voltage and the power of the LEDs or in any case information from where I get the complete Led strip, it has a 72 LED strip on the right side. I am located in the northern part of Greater Buenos Aires from now Thank you very much

test the LEDs that are still good, with your meter in the diode test position, if your LEDs light very little, they are 3.5v, but if with that test they do not light and if they are good, then those LEDs are 6v, You can try these with a 5v phone charger, they will light well, the strip you mention is very difficult to buy, I recommend welding cables from where the original LEDs are connected and connecting LEDs adapted from the corresponding voltage, and run the cables with the LEDs adapted to a place where you can accommodate them, no matter that they do not light up in the place where they should go, since it will not be noticed, greetings.

Good afternoon Javier. I understand that there is no possibility that the test you mention illuminates any type of 6 volt led for TV? Anyone else think like Javier?

The method that I told you what I have done in Samsung and Sharp TVs that bring that type of LED with acrylic screen as a diffuser, as you will see they do not have enough space to put large round LEDs, since it is complicated to remove and put in place of the small leds,

Good morning Javier, I ask you another question to be able to change them, I took off the strip from the heat sink, do you know what kind of glue it had, carries it or can it be put so that it dissipates the heat? As for the LEDs I ended up buying one of 3 V and I soldered them and in the test they failed a couple more luckily buy others now I do not want to continue testing for fear that the temperature I burned someone else.

I really have no idea exactly what that kind of glue is, you could try any one that adheres firmly to the heatsink,

Good Javier, my doubt is that if I put a glue, it does not allow me to transfer the temperature of the rod to the heatsink. For example the fastix high temperature.

I imagine that some sticky tape would be good but I really have no idea of any that is indicated, I never take off the complete LED rod, for the same reason that it cannot be re-adhered as it originally came. And it is for that reason that I told you about the adaptation of normal LEDs and to accommodate them in another place by extending cables.

Good day, I commented that looking for I found different adhesive products that also dissipate the heat produced but I can't know what temperature these 72 LEDs can generate for me and I need it to be able to choose the adhesive. As soon as the houses of sale of led only know of what voltage and dimensions.

Good Morning. I told you that I changed the LEDs and got an imported adhesive in the open market that at the same time allows you to dissipate the heat. His name is "ES SILICONE RUBBER / ADHESIVE SEALANT / ES810"
