Good morning, I am trying to repair a led tv of my father that has sound and led light, but does not give any type of image. I disassembled it and when I connected it I noticed that on the tcon board with the integrated dcdc converter rt6905 and a coil make a noise and they get very hot. My idea is to change the entire board, but I would encourage you to change the integrated one to test if that is the fault. What do you think? What would you recommend me? The tv is a Samsung 6030 40 "

Not now, although a few years ago I was dedicated to repair appliances, I have basic concepts of electronics, but since I like to repair my things and besides it is very difficult economic here and my old man cannot buy another one, I got to repair it and I learn by the way. I already arranged some others, but they were filters or burned LEDs.

This buzzing is manifested because it is forcing the dc-dc converter to a high current consumption, usually by a possible short on the panel, upload a complete image of the t-con showing its connections to the display ... greetings In the image I show the connections to the display R and L, now what you are going to do is with the screen turned off disconnect one side and turn on the screen and check that the hum disappears and also observe the display, do the process with the other flex This is the culprit and not the RT [img] https://adjuntos.yoreparo.com/imagen_post/0004/28/f2118d22e64049965349235ab7b6775d8529c158. img]

The noise is done with each one disconnected and with both disconnected at the same time and nothing is visible on the display. The strange thing is that it makes the noise exactly there, but sometimes the LEDs flash and stop doing it, but nothing remains.

Uff ... how funny, thanks for the answers. One last doubt, my brother has the same but 32 ", and I saw that on the plate there is a jumper with for 32 40 and 55, I could prove that everything is fine before buying a new plate by putting that tcon with the jumper at 40 ?

That's right, you just have to move the sane coil to the size of the display. I call that luck! hahahahaaaa
