Doubt replacement mainboard led KEN BROWN

Hello to all the colleagues and friends of YoReparo. I would like to ask you a question. I have a ken brown model Led55e800kb-S7, which does not turn on (it goes from red to blue LED and does not respond). The source correctly delivers the voltages, so I suspect the main at 99%. But I have a problem. Apparently Ken Brown and Tonomac, manufacture the mainboards practically the same, with a code and serial number THAT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YES. But, as I have been told, despite being visually identical, identical in their serial number, and despite being of the same number of inches, I have been told that they are NOT COMPATIBLE or EQUAL. I don't know if you understand the question. But I will give details. The main one that I need to change is this and corresponds to the Led55e800kb-S7 model: The one I want to place is this, and corresponds to a 55-inch tonomac model: Can someone explain to me why they are not compatible? if visually they are the same, the model of the plate, and the inches are the same ... what makes them different? What would happen if I replace them anyway? Sorry but honestly this brand confuses me a lot. And I don't have much experience with it. Greetings and thanks in advance for the help!

Hello charly, as I see in the photo that you put the plates are identical, replace it, many times the inches do not have to do, looking at the numbering and the components are identical, I in my 35 years in this subject do not think you have any problem, good luck friend,

Hi, the plates are the same. But before you discard the old plate I tell you ... I have had some of these plates with electrolytics that lose acid (I never really knew which of them all, they looked like drops on the plate and the chips below). They produce the same fault. Take out all the electrolytics, clean with alcohol and reheat with an air gun (from behind so that nothing will be soldered) place new electrolytic and it worked perfectly. I hope the data serves you. regards

Hello, if it is the TONOMAC LED55E800TO-S8, the change is right. The same behavior when you plug in the TV should be like this. Red, it turns blue (here what it does is read the memory), then it turns red again (stand by), to know if it is a memory problem, what I do is take the oscilloscope, and see if there is communication between the spi and the micro, if there is corrupt data, is communicating non-stop, normally there should be communication during the red-blue-red led step that comments above. Well if that is the case, the only thing you do is to record a backup that is in good condition (you get it in the world). If it is not a problem of memory you will see that there is communication is cut, since I finish this reading and follow the blue LED without turning to red, here we must check for example micro glass to see if you have the frequency of it, and very very It is important to see if the ddr and the micro voltages are stable, it usually happens to me with these plates, more precisely in 2 of 24 "ken brown from the same manufacturer that failed the ams1117 regulator that fed the ddr, had the output high, changing Regulator was given solution.

Friend Seekude, the repair was a success! I proceeded to replace the model LED55E800TO-S8 (which is 3d) and the team responded perfectly. I appreciate your input and that of all the colleagues who helped solve the problem and the doubt I had. I consider the issue resolved.
