If it is LED, check the LED strips and supply voltage of these

Have you checked the status of the backlight leds?

If the LEDs are fine, it has 40 LEDs that voltages would have to have are 6volts.

Depending on the arrangement, sometimes they place 2 or more separate lines, if it is a single line 6Vx40LEDs: 240V, they usually print this info on the PCB, for example. "240V 200mah" Equally according to the integrated it has, it handles 4 lines, senses them individually, but sometimes they usually place them in pairs, so they can only be 2 lines (checking the diagram are just joined (ISENSE 1 and 2 and, ISENSE 3 and 4) So 2 lines, the voltage of this step up stage should be approximately 120V, the same as before you would have to check if all the conditions are for the IC to start: VIN power (12v) BL-ON line (IC ENA pin) Check with oscilloscope the existence of the pulse train from the main in PWM. LED status. These stages work with protections against short, over current and open circuit, if these conditions occur the IC will stop switching, therefore the step up source will not work, and will only measure the voltage of 48V (according to diagram), it will not rise to the + 120v necessary.

Hello, how are you? I have a TCL L40S4900 has 3 LED branches that feeds the 3 strips of 8 LEDs each with a voltage of 84 volts each strip since the LEDs are 6 volts each and has the same integrated mentioned, and A mosfet for the return. In my case I can not lower the current since it is very high, and I tried to get 2 R from the mosfet and it does not vary at all, any suggestions colleagues? I am new to me, thank you all!

I take out resistors that I showed, the current of the LEDs in that source with the integrated GB98 is adjusted by modifying the resistance on pin 2 between GND (ISET). In this case R314 and R341.

Ok thank you colleague for this contribution, I did not know, it is the first TV of this model with this fault that touches me

Is the default value of the resistors reduced to reduce the current?

Colleague was solved, this TV started with a voltage of 84 volt branch 1 and 84 volt branch 2 to power 12 LEDs of 6 volts each; gone through 12 volts too! Then stabilize after 30 seconds at 74 volts! Passed by 2 volt! Backlight at 100 of its capacity, due to this 8 LEDs had been burned, which were changed and then with the contribution of the colleague, work was done on the 2 r of pin number 2 of the IC. GB 98 of 12k and 24k increasing its value to 47k the 2 R. The voltage remains at 72 volts at start and then stabilizes at 30 sec. in 56 volt since those 30 seconds are
