I don't trust informal preparers to have a friend delivered his TV in worse conditions than the fault he had.
Nor send it to the LG service, since they charge you even for the air you breathe.

Unfortunately, if you are not a technician, it will be difficult for you to repair it. You should have a bit of notion about electronics, at least you could leave your TV in worse conditions if you do not have knowledge on the subject, and not all technicians are informal, you have to know who carry. and regarding the fault you don't give many details of the fault. That way you can't help yourself. luck

When the image is lost, illuminate the screen with a flashlight, if you see an image you have a problem with the LEDs, repairing it is easy but very delicate and as they told you you have to have some knowledge.
I recommend you take it to a technician, not all are chantas. I had the same problem and it was repaired in my house, it looked like new and the repair was not expensive.
