Doubt about Philips TV source mod .: 48PFG5100 / 77

Good morning friends of Yoreparo! ;) I am reviewing a Philips LED TV, model 48PFG5100 / 77, which does not turn on (not even LED standby). The owner says that the TV was working fine, until it suddenly turned off. Then, it was disconnected from the 220v network, and when it was reconnected, the TV worked fine for a few minutes until it turned off again and didn't turn on anymore. I started by reviewing the source, with the naked eye without visible problems. But I want to completely discard it. Therefore, I would like to know how to turn it on to test it independently of the main one. I'm not sure how to do it and that's why I need your help. The diagram of this model is as follows: https://elektrotanya.com/philips_tpm15.4lla_312278519860_20150327.pdf/download.html and the source is this: By connecting the source directly to 220v, on the CN9301 connector, where it says 12v, I have only 8.5v. The rest of the pins, no voltage. My doubts: Is it necessary to perform some specific procedure to turn on the source without the main? When connecting the source to 220v, is it correct that you only find 8.5v where there should be 12v? Thank you very much!

Good, that source is fine, it works at half power off apparently, to test it outside you must connect the output of 5.2va the ps-on and on-off pin.

Good morning Condor. I think the same as you, but I would like to discard it completely. The problem is that I don't know where to place the 5v standby to do the test. Can you guide me? thank you!

The u9301 is in charge of the 5v, it is on the source board near the connector cn9101, look at the bottom of the board. This ic is powered with 12v by pin 2 and takes 5v by pin 7, verify that.

many philips televisions the stanby voltage is generated on the mainboard, if your source does not bring 5v output only that of 12 then this voltage is generated on the main by dcdc converters, you can test your power by injecting the 5v with an external source like it can be the charger of a cell phone at 2 amps in the pson points and in the blon for the backlight voltage when this voltage will appear only for a moment, with the service manual check the dcdc converters of the main, they are very damaged .. ..Cheers.
