Hello to all foreros, I have received a 42 "Led TV without image, but with audio, the model is 42LY340c, I have addressed the LEDs directly, disarming the screen area, and I have found all the diffusers (like transparent buttons) out of place, all in the lower part of the screen, also checking and placing some tension on the LED strips, almost no lights, only 2 wires come out of the source, but I don't know what tension should have, the mesh of LEDs, are 4 strips of 8 LEDs each, and within each strip I suspect that the 8 LEDs are in series, by clicking some individual LEDs some have lit others not, of the total little more than half lights and the rest not .... will it be possible to burn several at once ?. Looking more deeply at the LEDs, with magnifying glass, those have a yellow coating and almost all of them have this coating with various cracks, so I assume that everyone is already bad for use. Therefore looking for where to find the Led strips, in Mercado Libre there are but they are all used, I do not know if the Service will sell them new, what I have found are led strips for other LG led models and 42 ”more modern models but they are not equal or in quantity, so the advice I ask you as a block if I install other LED strips that the end is the same, but how to achieve square with the source voltage. The other if the diffusers have fallen Can they paste again with transparent silicone? Greetings from the Biobio.

they are usually glued with "glue" type fast glue because thermal silicone as its name indicates melts with temperature.

All "LG" models use the same LED now if you can get the new and original LED bars would be great since a used LED is not very reliable

Friend those TVs use 32 led of 6 volts, it is advisable to change them all, if you can not have a diffuser you can paste them with super glue gel, I have used it with good results. Greetings and luck
