I told you that I had a 100kg treadmill with 180V DC, 1.2Hp, 4000rpm, 4.5 Amp, anti-clockwise, my board (driver) that handled the power and speed was melted, I did not get and the plate could not be repaired, my electrical network is 220V AC, I proceeded to put a rectifier on bridge (4 diodes) and an electrolytic capacitor of 220uf x 400v and I tested it and it worked although my ex-voltage had a drop of approximately 180v to 200v but at maximum speed it did not I could regulate a dimmer but I remembered that I had a hole that the coil died and I used its speed regulator and it worked to regulate the speed.
good companion that I did because I had no option I recommend that you use a transformer according to your voltage and motor power then you put the speed regulator then the bridge rectifier if it is a DC motor if it is AC you will only use the regulator of the Drill .. I hope it works for you.
