Check that the hose that goes from the tank to the carburetor is not broken, check the fuel filter that is at the bottom of the tank and at the tip of the hose that carries the gasoline to the carburetor. Didn't they take out the hoses? two hoses arrive at the carburetor, the one that carries the fuel filter and a shorter one that is the return. If you invest them, gasoline will not arrive.

The hoses are not well physically what I see is that it has a leak where the hoses enter the tank that has something to do or that part has to be sealed

it has to be sealed there can be no leaks since the tank is compressed. if there is a leak, or the hose is broken or stiff / dry. in both cases it must be replaced
