You mean that you have 2 different networks and you cannot put the camera and DVR into the same network segment, which occurs to me first to add the Ip channel to the DVR, then you could open ports for the Hikvision Camera and link it remotely. in your dvr .. obviously you should use the public IP of the network where the Hikvision camera is ..

Another thing is if the dvr recognizes it, because from a dahua ip camera to dvr hikvision it can be done because I have done it. in my case I have the hikvision ip camera and the dahua nvr in the same network segment but in the ip search of the cameras in the NVR menu it does not find what I should do, I have found that with the onvif protocol it would work but the NVR DAHUA They also have it or the other option is to lower the resolution please any other suggestions
