Hi people, I have 4 IP cameras connected to a TPLink router model TL-WR741ND which from the PC can access without problems wirelessly. Now my problem is that I want to connect it to a generic Tribrido DVR and I had no luck, I need your help please. The connection I want to make is like this: IP Cameras to Router to DVR to Cablemodem of Fibertel. Thanks and help please.

Two options. Or make the DVR wireless (I don't know if you have that option) or the correct way would be: swich 8 port where the 4 cameras and the dvr and swich are connected to a router lan port.

Thanks for answering. I commented that the cameras if wireless IP connected wirelessly to the Router, the router is connected to a cable modem and I connected from one of the router ports to the DVR. With the PC I connect via Wi-Fi directly to the router and type in the browser of some of the IPs of the cameras I enter without problems and I have an image now my problem is that I bought this Tribrido DVR that supposedly connects to the network and detects the connected cameras and no one recognizes me, I want to use it to store the images. I don't know if I explain myself.

1- You can enter the DVR! Is it in the same IP range as the PC and cameras? If they are not compatible, are the cameras onvif? Does the DVR accept onvif ?. If that is the case, you should be able to add with this protocol. Brand and models?

Yes, they are in the same range, the router's IP is 192.12.12.254
The ip of the cameras is:
Cam1 192.12.12.100
Cam2 192.12.12.101
Cam3 192.12.12.102
Cam4 192.12.12.104
They are ONVIF and are connected by wifi (wireless)
And the DVR 192.12.12.105
The DVR is connected to the router via cable and in turn the Router is connected by cable to the Cisco brand Fibertel cable modem.
And they are generic Chinese equipment.

Do you have an onvif search? Do you have to add manually and choose protocol? Can you upload an image from the menu?

comments on the model of the dvr since sometimes they only support one or two maximum in their case. In case for ip cameras they are the nvr.

Thanks for helping. I want to comment that from both searching and testing with several devices I came to the conclusion that the cameras are NOT ONVIF, although in the configuration menu they appear that they are but it is not. I got a similar generic device and this detects them but as private and if I manually change it to ONVIF you are not giving image. Conclusion: These Kits of Chinese NVR equipment are suitable for ONVIF systems, but the cameras they include are not, therefore I solved it by placing an equal NVR brand. So topic closed.
