Hello: A few days ago I lost video of 2 CCTV cameras that are outside and when checking I noticed that the cable (coaxial siames) was cut and somewhat damaged by the sun, then I decided to change it but the coaxial siames is somewhat expensive, so my question is Can I connect the 2 cameras with the same FTP cat 6 cable, both for video and for current (one pair for each video signal and another pair for current signal in each camera)? This is because I already have a section of this cable. Regards.

More than 30 mt you will have problems with video quality, for this the balum is used with support for that distance (if there are different), cat 5 will not work very well, minimum recommended and for the same cost Cat. 5e , ftp cat 6 is going to come at the cost of luxuries, but it certainly gives better video quality, if it is for domestic use and is not very demanding, the client uses 5e.
