Hello people. I have a problem with the security cameras of my house, until more than a week ago I saw them normally from my cell phone, from one day to the next I can't see them anymore, check everything dvr, modem, cables and then call Claro ( Argentina), they tell me that the modem has the ports closed and that they must change it because it has a weak signal and the changes that they could make did not impact it. On Saturday the technician came and changed the device, then called Claro, (several times) because according to them they did not have the tool to open the ports, they took 3 more days to then call me and tell me that the ports were open at ip 192.168. ....., something that I miss, because when you hire Claro, connect the dvr without configuring any ip, just point the cell phone to the QR code that appears in the dvr configuration and with that it worked until a few days ago. I really don't know what to do anymore, I think they're lying to me, but since I don't understand much about networks, that's why I ask if any of you give me a hand. The program I use on my cell phone is the QmEye, download a lot to see if they work and none work, thinking that the problem is software. I hope help please. Thank you so much.!!!

Hi. If you did not configure the ports before, they should not be the problem. It may be a soft problem you use, I was looking at the page of that application and there are quite a few complaints about the product. I advise you to try being on the same network, that is, connecting by Wi-Fi to the same network in which the cameras are to check if it is the connection to the outside or if it is the update of the software. If the equipment is generic you could also try the XMeye, so far it has worked with unbranded equipment.

Hello people, solve the problem, I comment for who serves: The servers that work with this application "Qmeye" do not work anymore, the Chinese abandoned the project, and the other application that I do not remember now as it is called but also worked With these servers it doesn't work anymore, these generic DVRs only work in local mode, if it is true that the expert is able to make it work, but in my case I bought a hikvision and the problems are over, now it looks excellent, it does not cut , it is not slow, it works very well. Good. Correct decision had, installing a Hikvision. It will not give you many problems, apart from being such a recognized brand, any technician can help you without problems. Remember that you can put the Hikvision application with Hikconnect or with EZVIZ. If you do not know very well what I said, I leave some videos, so you can see what it is, so you can get the most out of your DVR: Greetings.
